Applying to WCCS
We’re excited you’re considering the blessing and enrichment of a Christian education for your child or children. At West County Christian School, you’ll find the highest quality curriculum taught by skilled faculty called to educate children in the life and mind of Jesus Christ.
You may submit applications for enrollment any time during the school year. Please note class sizes are limited to 15 students for our Kindergarten class, and 18 students for grades one through eight. Applications are considered in the order they are received, but families with children already enrolled in the school are given first preference. Children enrolling for Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before August 1st to enroll for the current academic year.
You can apply by using the Microsoft Word forms found on our website (links below), or you may contact the school office to request an enrollment package.
The Enrollment Process
- For each child you are enrolling, complete and sign the Application for Admission in its entirety including the Christian Profession section. At least one parent must profess Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Also, complete and sign the Background Consent Form.
- Ask your church pastor to complete the Pastoral Letter of Recommendation for your child or children, returning the letter directly to the school office. Applications will not be considered until this item is completed. Note: If you have recently relocated to the area, please have your most recent Pastor provide the recommendation, or you may discuss your situation with the Enrollment Committee by contacting the school office.
- Read our Statement of Faith, and sign the Statement of Faith form indicating your affirmation or disagreement accordingly.
- If you are enrolling a child/children who has previously attended school elsewhere, complete and sign the Records Release form, attach the Records Request Form, and send to the school your child/children attended. It is mandatory WCCS has the latest academic records for all students.
- Complete the Student Health form for each child you are enrolling. Immunizations must be completed and up-to-date before entering school. We recommend obtaining a school physical, but it is optional at your discretion.
- After reviewing tuition and fees information for your child/children, complete and sign the Tuition Payment Plan Commitment form.
- Send all items to the school office: Enrollment fee, supply fee, tuition payment, Tuition Payment Plan Commitment Form, Application for Admission, Statement of Faith Form, Student Health Form, and copies of birth certificates and social security cards for your child/children. (All completed applications are marked with the date and time of arrival to the school office. Incomplete applications will be put on hold, and you will be notified.)
- A member of the Enrollment Committee will contact you to set up an appointment for a parental interview. After the interview and student testing, your enrollment will be considered solely by the school Board of Directors. You will be notified of the decision as quickly as possible.
